We walked Ellie around the cricket pitch in Sandwich, walking along The Butts.
Jack recommended a restaurant in Broadstairs, The Jetty. We keep saying we are going to try it and never get round t it. So today we went and it really was good food. I had the tuna, very tasty. It is in a prime position, almost surrounded by sea. The staff were lovely too.
Well worth going.
We didn’t have a dessert as they all seemed quite heavy/sickly but as we were walking along the sea front back to the car, I decided to have a Kelly’s Ice cream to help my mouth as it is full of ulcers again! So, we just bought two and within seconds a seagull swooped and grabbed mine out of my hand. I had forgotten how brutal Broadstairs seagulls are!
Then of course in the evening we watched the England v Argentina game. Oh dear. I wonder why we had 6 in defence??!
