A bit cooler so we took Ellie to Knees Wood but she didn’t complete the whole walk. We just follow her to see when she has had enough!!
Later in the day we went to Deal as it was the commemoration day for the Royal Marines . I am surprised how few people remember the event in 1989, when an IRA bomb went off in the recreation centre at Deal Barracks killing 11 musicians and seriously injuring 21 others. I have to say even my grandson who was in the Royal Marines didn’t know!
It was such a lovely afternoon.
