Ellie’s walk was over the fields in Eastry and she wanted to go further than we walked but we had her post op check up with Sorrell at the vets.
The receptionists at the vets make such a fuss of Ellie and feed her gravy bones. She is now 26.8 kg so very acceptable, seeing as we have been giving her extras, feeling sorry for her!
Sorrell checked Ellie all over and was impressed that she was almost back to normal and seemed very lively too. So good to hear. She has recommended hydrotherapy which we will look into and now we can get her gently back into always off lead and managing the stairs!! Yeah. We are very happy.
Last thing at night we tried to get her to walk up the stairs and she tried putting one leg forward and then the other and then she panicked, so we’ll try another day, Mal carried her up again!
