I managed to get Ellie to walk down the stairs but then the weight is on her front legs, not on the back. Bit by bit!
We were off to London for the day and so took Ellie over to Josie for her to look after her and left the car at Faversham and caught the train from there. Of course a Saturday so London was heaving. Thankfully we avoided the demonstration in Trafalgar Square where over 500 were arrested, more pensioner terrorists I am guessing!! We caught the bus from Victoria to China Town and found a nice noodle bar where we were the only non Chinese in there, always a good sign! The food was very good.
Then time for the theatre. We went to see Just for one Day – Live Aid. It was sold out and so good. The music obviously, the singing and the acting, all top class. In fact it surprised us both how excellent it was.
The train back to Faversham by which time Lou and Rhys were home, so lovely to see them. Josie had taken Ellie for a walk and she just stopped and wanted to go home. She is getting a bit stubborn! Poor girl is going deaf and I had to explain that to Josie, not to come from behind her as she jumps because she can’t hear.
