A red hatters lunch today at The Anchor at Wingham. Our new group really are lovely ladies who always thank me for all the organising so different from the last lot!! Sadly three couldn’t make it today but the rest of us really had a lovely meal with very good company.
We discussed a visit to the Kent Lavender Farm in July, something we really must do!
The reason I have a purple hat on is because it is my birthday month.
10.30 was slug/snail patrol. Other gardeners say there are so many because we didn’t have a cold winter. There are so many more this year. One has even munched one of my courgettes. PESTS!! But even so we can’t kill them, they are “rehomed” in the field opposite.
