Oh dear, the new bed, this time did I  not only change the bed clothes but took off the mattress protector and noticed at the top of the mattress, the springs were showing beneath the padding, meaning it had not been finished off properly and in time would wear.  What a surprise they don’t have a similar mattress at the moment. Why is it everything you buy nowadays there is a problem?

We are about to look at the kitchen unit book, to have a new kitchen built and to be frank I am dreading it and am not enthusiastic at all. So many new things fail.

I received this from Sol today, our great grand daughter Luna. She is growing so quickly.

Poor Ellie looks as though she wants to go for a proper  walk but then goes to sleep….she is recovering, only a few more days hopefully. I spent the afternoon cleaning out the conservatory and taking the rugs up, I am believing it is Spring!

The powers that be decided we all had to open the Cancer Research shops today (bank holiday). Of course none of Head office were in. I offered to go in as we weren’t doing anything. A bit of a waste as Birchington was very quiet, most of the shops were closed and consequently it was a very quiet day.
