Sunday 2nd April 2023

We did think about going to Kearsney for a walk but looking at the local news, no chance as the traffic is now blocking Whitfield Hill. As someone noted, at least the Highland cattle are back, so  there is something to look at while they are sat in the queues! Well, I didn’t vote for Brexit and lengthy checking of passports has to be a major factor in all of this. I just have to remember to keep away from Dover.

So, we drove to St Mildred’s Bay to join Trevor’s Beach Buddies. There were only 10 today . Ellie enjoyed playing with Milo and chasing around the beach. She does love it with all the others.

As soon as we were back home Mal went to the allotment and spotted the first of the asparagus, just starting.

Then we watched the Hammers game, thank goodness they won!

Thought for the Day – “Great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion.”
