We stayed in Sandwich for our morning walk. The two rose trees I planted either side of Torin’s grave are both in full bloom, if a little battered from the rain.
We walked along the river and then to the cricket pitch by Gazen Salts. Ellie is managing to walk further now than she has for a long time.
They have put some bunting up around the town. Mal went weeding at the allotment and I sat in the garden with Ellie watching the birds!
