A day in London while Lou and Rhys looked after Ellie. At last, at third attempt, we went to see ‘Hairspray’. It was originally part of my 70th birthday present, cancelled because of Covid and then cancelled again in July as a member of the cast had Covid. Third time lucky! It was well worth the wait.
We went around Covent Garden first and then had our lunch and on to the show. It was brilliant, thank goodness we got in to see it. Even Mal, not a fan of musicals couldn’t believe how good it was.
We had a wander round, then something to eat.
I have to say London was a lot busier than the last time we were there in July, things are slowly returning to normal.
