We walked Ellie, listening to a pair of very loud woodpeckers and continued on to the allotment. It is surprising how excited you can get over a new pile of wood chips! Of course we did no more than start shovelling another 8 huge bags and laying them on top of membrane and stamping them down. We have quite a few layers in some places, hopefully stopping the weeds.
A big house clean in the afternoon, it gets left a bit now we keep going to the allotment!
