It was 1.00 am and Ellie still wouldn’t settle and so I ended up waking Mal , who needless to say had slept through all this, and he dressed and took her across the road with his torch! Well, I wasn’t going over there in the dark! She evidently made it more than obvious that her tummy was still bad. After that she settled down.
I gave her scrambled egg and rice again for breakfast.
We took her for a walk around the orchards. It doesn’t look as though the apricots will be a bumper crop, some trees had a lot but only about 25% of the trees had fruit on them.
There are plenty of apples. Two of the orchards have new trees planted. On the way back we stopped in Elgar’s field as Ellie does love a ball game in there.
In the evening I cooked Lamb Khoresh, I used to make it a lot in Cyprus. Of course followed by fresh fruit from the allotment.
