I went to get the shopping at Westwood. I bought two more rose bushes in Range as they were 25% off and I really want some highly perfumed roses at my allotment. I also found some more alliums to put at the back along the fence.
After lunch we took Ellie again and went to the allotment. Mal chopped back a leylandii from an adjoining garden and I cleaned out more rubbish from the first green house. We are also uncovering raspberry canes and rhubarb. They are having a skip down there in a couple of weeks time, so we are piling up the rubbish. There is an area that has been covered by carpet which will be ideal for the kids to have a patch each. They can start turning the soil on their next visit. We have also found a lot of rhubarb and raspberry canes just starting to bud.
