I heard from Tariq, who is working in the US. He said it is “Covid Crazy” over there. I hope he is keeping safe.

We went out for lunch, our last escape before lock down. It was also 3 years ago Torin’s funeral, so a little treat. That has to have been the second worst day of my life.

Back home and we tried to ring to get the money back for our lodge holiday that should have taken place next week. Almost an hour on the phone but when the phone was answered, a really nice lady who is going to refund our money.

Thought for the Day – “One small crack doesn’t mean you are broken. It just means you were put to the test and didn’t fall apart.” ~ Linda Poindexter

We went to Stone Bay. It was misty but quite warm. Ellie loves it down there. It was a very high tide, only a couple of days after the full moon. A dog fish had swum on to the beach and couldn’t get back so Mal rescued it and returned it to the deep water.

We gave Ellie a bath when we were home. It’s not easy her coat is so thick.

I caught up with Autumn watch in the afternoon, followed by football. Spurs won! We are now second in the league! Each year I have bet on them, this year I didn’t.

Thought for the Day – “There is a purpose to everyone you meet. Some people come into your life to test you, some to teach you, some to use you and some to bring out the very best in you.” ~ John Geiger
