Another morning at the allotment, plenty to do for both Mal and I. While we were there my friend from Yorkshire, Annette phoned to make sure that we are all OK, so we had an hours chat!

We have a blackbird at the allotment who loves it when we are digging and he is very bold, as bold as robins usually are! We have so much rhubarb and the fruit trees are blossoming.

At 8pm, we all went outside our front doors, clapping and banging our pots and pans, supporting the NHS workers.

Watching Robert Jenrick on TV this morning, what an idiot. As Mal said having been asked the question about Corona Virus he would have failed A level! (Mal was a Principal Examiner). What a load of waffle.  Stay at home so we can’t even see our grandchildren and then they showed Acton tube station where no one was obeying the rules. Shocking.

Off to the allotment again. I was looking for a new door number for the house and saw this one on Ebay, ridiculously cheap and it happened to be our allotment number, so we now have our number up!

I planted some flower seeds and Mal did a lot more, including putting pea supports up.
