Another chilly day but I remembered my hat and scarf for our walk today!
We had a Red Hatter meeting at lunchtime and decided on a few things we will do in the future. We met up in the Comfort Inn. I decided to have a jacket potato for lunch and seeing as there were a good selection on the menu, I decided on a prawn one. We went to order…no jacket potatoes, OK, we’ll have baguettes….no baguettes. All of these were on the menu. So thinking of Slimming World I asked if I could have an omelette with salad. No!! Omelette comes with chips. I told him I didn’t want chips and as they had no jacket potatoes nor baguettes and the fact that salads were also on the menu then surely that was ok….NO! So, I told him I didn’t want anything if I couldn’t have that. The others ordered sandwiches. How ridiculous, it will be the last time I ever go there.
We did however manage to make decisions on future trips.
I made myself a jacket potato when I got home!
