It was the day for our Hatters Christmas lunch. Louella brought her dog along and then was told the dog was not allowed in the restaurant, so she sat in the bar with her friend Lynn. As much as I love dogs, surely it could have been left at home while she enjoyed Christmas lunch. It just led to a rather awkward situation.
However we enjoyed it and had a big raffle and a Secret Santa. A really nice afternoon.
In the evening Mal and I went to babysit for Ollie, Oscar and Josie. I popped round to Sainsbury to do a shop for the food bank. Seeing as we have to go to the Phoenix Centre to vote tomorrow and that is where the drop off point is, it seems sensible. If every voter took one tin, wow that would help to boost the food bank. Of course people won’t even think of it or perhaps even be aware where the food bank is!
