After Ellie’s walk we drove to collect Mal’s sister Marion so we could have a “Channing” Christmas meal. Dom and Jem were away in Bruges and Mal’s other sister was busy. Kerry’s other half was working so not everyone came but those of us that did really enjoyed it. We went to Smuggler’s in Birchington, where Rhys took us last Christmas Day.
It was a lovely lunch and Marion (Mal’s sister) particularly enjoyed it, bless her. She said her cauliflower was too hard and I had to explain what al dente was.
After the meal we took Marion home and she opened one of her Christmas presents we gave her. it was the photo album we made her of her birthday day out at Wingham Wildlife. She was so excited when she saw it and said she was going to show it to everyone.
