Mal decided it was time for a haircut and his barber is in Broadstairs so I dropped him off and Ellie and I went to Stone Bay. The sun was shining and it really was a glorious morning. I did chat to a guy down there who told me he has worked all over the world and yet we have some of the best beaches right here in Thanet. I had to agree and because the sun was out everyone was smiling! I must remember to smile more often, I get a bit into my head and some days forget. I must keep reminding myself as it makes me feel better.
When Mal had finished having his hair cut he joined us on the beach. From there I popped into the supermarket on the way back home and also bought some primroses for my pots. I planted them in the afternoon and Mal washed the car. The temperature started dropping quite quickly even though the sun was still out. Log burner alight and very cosy!
