Mal spent quite a lot of the morning on the phone as there is a college who are trying to head hunt him. We also had to dish out cough medicine and throat sweets to Scarlet and Jack before we could do anything else. Eventually we all went out for a long walk.
It was Mals and my wedding anniversary, which we are sort of postponing until a later date! We decided to take them out for lunch so at least I wouldn’t have to cook. We went to Chom Choms in Canterbury. They like it there as they can eat as much as they want and they have desserts, and an ice cream machine and jelly beans!! Well, they enjoyed themselves. Mal bought me a lovely bouquet of flowers and tickets to see Michael Ball and Alfie Boe. I guess we will have our celebration then!
The main thing was the kids enjoyed themselves in spite being a little ill. Jack seems to be improving now. We stopped on the way home to buy Scarlet some new jeans as she seems to be having a growth spurt and the ones she has brought with her are short and tight! Although they are twins she is a lot taller than Jack now.
