We will be conducting an excavation and release of hatchlings tonight. We have hatchlings from other nests, plus whatever is found in the nest tonight, so you’re guaranteed to see lots of them tonight start their journey into the sea tonight. Please meet at The Turtle Shack, Guzelyali Beach, Karsiyaka at 6:45pm. No need to book, everyone welcome. ????”
Scarlet and Jack didn’t wake up until 8am! We had breakfast and then decided to go to Dumpton Gap beach as we could take Ellie there with us. Scarlet, Jack and Ellie had a great time running in and out of the water and digging in the sand and burying Ellie’s ball. She loves having the kids to play with.
In the afternoon they wanted to go back to the Wildlife Park, which we did and then on to grandad’s allotment to get some potatoes and raspberries for dinner.
