I walked Ellie early again with Marion still sleeping and then went to buy some olive bread which we had for breakfast and also Cyprus Today. I have to say I struggled to find anything of interest in it.
Marion wanted to go to Lambousa market so off we went. The hotel (renovated) is now open and looks very nice. Out of there and we went to the Wild Duck for a drink. There was no one in there and we didn’t like the fried onion smell(!) and so moved on to Hannimeler, again right by the sea. It was breezy but much better than the smell of cooking onions at The Wild Duck! It was so nice we decided to have our last “meal out” there as Marion leaves tomorrow morning. Another good meal with a free “surprise” desert, which we think was syrup preserved walnut. Extremely sweet! I think Marion wondered what on earth it was. The chicken şiş was huge, so Ellie was in for a treat. The picture is şiş for one!
