Things are not looking at all good for the protesters in Istanbul. Throwing tear gas into hotel lobbies? Sounds as though someone is losing control.
Father’s Day and so I cooked Mal breakfast while he opened his presents. Rhys and the grandchildren came on the web cam to wish him Happy Father’s Day.
We then went into Broadstairs, for the next day of the Dickens Week, the cricket match which is always funny. I am sure it is only us Brits who will sit watching a cricket match in the rain! When we had enough of getting wet we went off to the pub!! So we had a pint or two, well I had wine at the Tartar Frigate. We had our lunch and then came back to watch Murray win at Queens. Yeah! This was followed by the most hysterical tennis with Andy Murray, Tim Henman, Boris Johnson, Richard Branson, Michael MacIntyre and others. I haven’t laughed so much in a long while!
