Margaretha hadn’t visited Margarina Bulli before so we arranged to take her there for lunch. I think she was suitably impressed and as she said, a restaurant just as they used to be years ago. A very warm welcome again and delicious food. This really is one restaurant that is consistent. It is our favourite place to eat and for 15tl, worth trying!! No, I don’t get commission, I just like to go places where your custom is appreciated and not the attitude of some establishments where they are really not bothered whether you enjoy their food or not.
We stopped at David and Kenny’s on the way home as David has been back to Edinburgh as his mother passed away. He was there, so that was a comfort for him.
