We drove to Stansted, dropped off our Hertz rental car, excited about being back on the island. I have to say Hertz are always very good and very nice staff. Our plane (Pegasus) left on time and we had extra leg room seats, so a pleasant journey. On arrival at Ercan we collected our cases, went to the car and Mal had lost the parking ticket! Anyway, I told him to take his passport and just tell them the number of days we had been there. Well, he told them and they didn’t bother looking at his passport, we just paid 60tl and they lifted the barrier for us.
We arrived home about 10.30pm. Too late to collect Rosie, so we unpacked and ended up going to bed about 12.30. It’s good to be home but I miss all the family. I must have driven our usual 1,000 miles!
