We went on a trip with the Foreign Residents Association to Bűyűkkonnuk. Guess who was also there?
It was one of Bűyűkkonnuk’s festival days. There were a lot of stalls there with local produce and crafts and even donkey rides! The entertainment was very good too. We had our lunch at the Pine restaurant and so did Dr Eroğlu and all his entourage. This was one of the contributing reasons that our lunch was not all it may have been! Of course the VIP’s had preferential treatment and we were also told that they had a new chef the previous day who was not used to catering for so many. I think there were 70 of us. We had a few mezes and then this:
We enjoyed the day anyway, some very good company and I didn’t have to drive! For those that don’t know, Mal doesn’t drive.
