I believe this is the new St George’s Day in the UK. It seems they have moved it!

The news today Bin Laden is dead. I fear the repercussions.

Mal and I tried to decide what to tell the vet when we ring him, so thought we would drive Rosie to the mountains to see how her leg was on a very short walk but at least for her, somewhere different. We took her and the cortisone has not improved her leg. She did have a good sniff round but we didn’t go far. We told the vet and he said to give her nothing and call him again in 10 days. I was relieved as I don’t think the cortisone was doing her any good and in fact, making her miserable. We will have to wait and see what the next course of action will be.

Mal and I went and did a bit of shopping and had lunch at Cafe Dukkan. It was really nice sitting outside having our lunch.

Thought for the Day – “The terrible thing about terrorism is that ultimately it destroys those who practise it. Slowly but surely, as they try to extinguish life in others, the light within them dies.” ~ Terry Waite
