Maggie & Mal's Adventures in North Cyprus, the UK and Beyond
Mal and I went to the shops and they were packed with everyone trying to avoid the extra 2 and 1/2% VAT which comes into force tomorrow. Quite frankly I just couldn’t be bothered. I am usually looking for the bargains but have felt so ill most of the time that I have been back in the UK, I just didn’t have the energy.
I cooked a very tasty stew and left it in the slow cooker.
We left Marion and Bryan’s and headed back to the caravan. Still coughing and wheezing. An early night with more medicene.

After a late night we didn’t get up very early and when we did Bryan cooked us a “full English”. Following that we drove to Hurley and went for a long walk. It was very dull and damp but at least it didn’t rain. That made us all feel better having some fresh air. I was still coughing and spluttering.
In the afternoon Wendy came round with Luca, Layla and Jude. Marion cooked us a lovely meal in the evening.
