Mal and I went out and paid the electricity bill in the bank. Just as well we went in because we discovered that all the ‘yeni’ turkish lira coins will no longer be accepted after Friday!! I save my 1tl coins for pocket money when the grandchildren come over in the summer, so I had to go through all of them and discovered I had 70tl of old coins which will have to go back to the bank! A good thing we found out in time.
We then went on to Perova Garden centre and bought two more trees for the front garden, a quince and a medlar. We wanted a loquat as well but they don’t have any at present.
In the evening we were back to our girlie Pizza night.
