Again we were woken during the night by noises outside because we had to keep our door open. I think by now we had decided we would never stay in this ‘5 star’ hotel again. The attitude of staff is unbelievable towards their guests. And no one seems to care.

Mal again went to guest relations and asked what time the engineer was coming to fix the air con. She got on the phone for ages and then informed us no one was coming, even though we were told the previous day they would. At this stage Mal lost it because we were getting very little sleep. Finally she said we could change rooms on Sunday at 2.00pm as the hotel was full before then.

We then decided we would go ten pin bowling. So, not being able to find it, we asked a member of the entertainment team who sent us down to the indoor pool area, we knew it wasn’t there as the sign was pointing in the complete opposite direction. We followed the sign, found another member of staff and asked them, ”You can’t use, it is broken!” It just gets better day by day.

We went down to the beach for the rest of the day and after dinner went to the ‘Moulin Rouge’ show, the only entertainment we could find that was on. It started at ¼ to 10 and lasted an hour. It was a good show but then we looked for something else to do as we really didn’t fancy going to a stifling room. After Moulin Rouge the ents team announced that they were all off to ‘Champagne night club’ in Antalya and we could all join them, I think not when we are staying in an all inclusive hotel. Another perk for the staff obviously. Mal even went and asked reception where the rest of the entertainment was, after all it was only 11.00pm, he said the hotel night club, which was obviously well worth a visit seeing as everyone had left to go to a night club in Antalya. A couple more drinks and then we gave up and went to bed. There was just no heart within the hotel and the staff on the whole didn’t want to bother with any of the guests.
