A walk in Knees Wood, I had to run in front of Ellie to get a photo as she dashes ahead, not sure why she loves this place so much!
While we sat outside Colonel’s Cafe having our coffee , a youngish guy sat at the next table and we started chatting. He had walked from Canterbury and is walking the Pilgrim’s Way (Canterbury to the Vatican). Not all in one go. This leg was to Austria. He will continue the next leg next year. He was heading to Dover for the ferry tomorrow. He had a back pack with ONE change of clothes, a one man tent, a passport and a credit card! Interesting.
