Mal and I walked Ellie along Rope Walk, went and bought the newspaper and then as we walked through`the town, we stopped at the stall for “Sandwich Matters”. Mal is quite involved with all of this, we are fighting for South Sandwich to be represented by Independents who care about the South and also we want them to reopen the community centre. Obviously we collected some posters.
Sandwich Matters started up following the dubious resignation of 5 conservative councillors! Of course Mal is doing the Sandwich Matters website for them.
Another lovely sunny day and people we met had smiles on their faces!
We drove into Margate and met Tris and Violet for lunch. The traffic was horrendous, they had road works right in the centre of Margate which jammed everything up.
