What a lovely morning. We drove to Reculver to take Ellie for a long walk. We saw Meadow Pipits and so many Swallows, they were diving to catch all the insects. I have never seen so many together. There were also quite a lot of dog walkers too with everyone keeping their distance but then it is a huge space. Ellie loved it and again it is a lot safer than some of the narrow footpaths around Sandwich.
From there we had some things to drop off at Lou and Rhys’s doorstep. Again we kept our distance but it was lovely to see them even if we couldn’t hug them.
Mal and I both remarked on the way home, how good Rhys looked, so relaxed instead of his normal work state of being stressed and working all hours. I know he also enjoys spending time with the kids.
In the afternoon I sorted a lot of plug plants. I ordered them a long time ago, before all this chaos and so a lot were root bound.
