In the morning I went into Deal and went to the hairdressers. I hadn’t realised that the previous night ‘travellers’ had been in the town wrecking the place. All the pubs had closed down except one and that was wrecked. Last week they were doing the same in Margate!
Back home and Mal and I took some things to the allotment, a worn fold up garden seat. I have bought new ones and so one of the old ones will go in Mal’s shed for when I visit or for when he wants a sit down! Also the edging we bought for our garden, which wouldn’t sink into the ground as there appears to be solid brick in parts!!
We then had an unexpected visit from my sister, niece and family who were on their way back from Center Parcs in France. We sat and chatted and then they wanted fish and chips down by the Quay as we did last year when they were passing through.
