Oh dear not a good start to the morning. Mal ordered Tristan’s birthday present on Amazon and Mal received an email this morning saying the parcel is on it’s way!! His birthday has gone. I did suggest to Mal that we buy the present and give it to Tris on his last visit. Mal insisted he buy it through Amazon Prime. Men get a little stubborn as they age! Of course he then spent over an hour on the phone complaining.
They promised to email him immediately. Joke…three hours later…nothing!
We went to the orchards and they have harvested a lot of the apples but I am sad to say that they leave so many behind, obviously not the right size or shape. There was also a whole orchard with a lot of apples that had split , incorrect watering is why that happens.
I am really wondering why people from the food banks don’t pick up on all this food waste.
