Our morning walks seem to take longer and longer. This morning we chatted to a guy named Ronald as his elderly dog has just had his eye removed, then he proceeded to tell us that he had lived here for 20 years, married to a German lady etc etc. If anyone is lonely, I suggest you get a dog!! Everyone stops to talk. There seems no such thing as a short dog walk, not around Sandwich anyway!
We had a Red Hatters meeting at The Crispin this time. At least for once I could walk to it. We even had an honorary member, Lin’s dog Lily!
We all enjoyed the food and tried to plan some events in the future.
Pam (the licensee ) even asked if she could take a photo to put on the pub’s website!
