So much bacon and sausages still left which we cooked up for breakfast. We all packed as we had to be out of the caravans for 10 am. We loaded the cars up and then went into Torquay. We then decided that we would get the ferry over to Brixham. It’s only £1 each way and Brixham is really nice! We walked all round Brixham and then lunchtime Mal and I thought we had better start heading back, so we left them in Brixham to catch the later ferry. We said very quick goodbyes because we hate leaving them all and knowing we will not see them for a long time.
We then drove to Lyme Regis and had a lovely crab sandwich each in the Penny Black, a lovely little cafe we found.
Our next destination was Chichester, to break the journey and we had booked a lovely B&B, Spire Cottage. Well, it was in Hunston just outside Chichester.
We booked in, had a really lovely garden room, with our own little garden. Jan who runs it was so nice and as soon as we arrived, made us a pot of tea and cakes. Later in the evening we went into Chichester for dinner. Back to the B&B, which is surrounded by countryside for a really good nights sleep.
