Not the best day to start when it was sunny outside but I began decorating the bedroom. We bought the wallpaper in Dunelm in Eastbourne as they didn’t have it in stock here. Let’s hope I remember how to wallpaper after 25 plus years! Painting the woodwork first!

All the bluebells have gone around the orchards and everything has suddenly grown up! The apricots are doing well and the apple trees are full of blossom.

The farm shop on the way back for more compost and asparagus and local apples and more!

Talk about when the going gets tough……………………..the next election! When eventually they have to find billions for the blood scandal and more billions for the Post Office scandal. It was also our MP’s first day  back ! Poor Craig McKinley. Seeing as he got caught up in our local hospitals chaos, did think he may have suggested something constructive starting with bringing Bursaries back for nurses.

For his announcement, Rishi didn’t even have the forethought to take an umbrella outside with him!!!

Well, I thought yesterday was my birthday finale but I went into work and had a birthday card and cake from Jack. That was really nice of him and then Pam came and took me out for lunch and brought a card and some beautiful flowers.

I have enjoyed quite a long birthday!

My birthday finale! Lou, Rhys, Oscar and Josie came round and Mal cooked us all a 2 x lamb leg roast. It was delicious and as  the sun was shining and it was so nice we ended up eating in the garden. This was all followed by birthday cake. A lovely day.
