Today at the beach we knew that winter had arrived. It was cold and windy which meant the Goldies loved it at their meet up at St Mildred’s Bay. Today there were about 20 there.

From there we went to Herne Bay to collect another Christmas present. We are now towards the end of the list!

We watched another of my teams go out of the family sweepstake….Australia but they did play well against Argentina! I still have France left.

Today is “gotcha day” for Ellie, in 2013! This was the first day we had her. She looks so young here.

I asked the local kennels if they could look after her over Christmas as we had flights booked to come back and see everyone. The one we had used for Rosie just said no even though I had spent a lot of money there!! I will be eternally grateful to K9 Kennels who squeezed her in, so much for “friends”/local kennels who wouldn’t have her. If I hadn’t found someone we may never have been able to keep her.

We had a walk along the river and the sun came out!  We were surprised at the number of moorhens. In the spring when they were nesting it seemed as though the crows were taking a lot of the chicks. Good to see a lot survived.

Yes, the river looks disgusting, blame DDC!

Next was packaging up Milly and Sol’s Christmas box and I took it to the local Evri. Two presents sorted!

Shopping at Westwood in search of more for Christmas. It was getting busy. I can’t believe the amount of houses being built on the way to Westwood. If each house has two cars, I don’t think I will be shopping there when they are complete, the traffic jams will be horrific.

We watched more football. Well, that was a very contentious goal from Japan!
