More decorating, or rather sanding down. A new sander that is supposed to vacuum the debris up. Not very successful. It took quite a lot of cleaning up after it went everywhere!

We took Ellie to Minnis Bay for a good run. The disgusting sea weed is starting to settle there. It seems to happen every summer and stinks. I think it is just beginning. Strangely the beaches dogs are allowed on seem clearer then the humans only ones! You can tell it is tourist season, the RNLI are patrolling and also there is a dog bowl left by the sink at their hut.

Mal went to the allotment and we had runner beans for dinner. I love them!

Ellie and I were out early. She was a little jumpy and kept looking behind her. I think she was reacting after the rottweiler yesterday.

We went out for lunch. Mal joined a Diners Club and so we thought we would try it out at Azouma. He phoned yesterday afternoon to book for today’s lunch. The answerphone was on so he left a message with all the details. He checked with them just before we left. They denied that they had the call, it is registered on Mal’s phone (!) and then said we couldn’t use Diners card at lunchtime. It certainly doesn’t say that in the Diners club info! What can I say the man was so rude to Mal, we will never be going there again. Mal has written to Diners club and will also be doing a Trip Advisor review. What is wrong with these people? He only had to call us back and say it wasn’t for lunchtime and Diners Club had made a mistake.

Instead we went to Chom Chom and had a really nice meal. I love their Thai curry. Mal had lamb vindaloo. They had lots of salads to start and desserts included fresh fruit salad which I had. Mal had two portions of chocolate gateau!
