We took Ellie for a walk and then drove to Westwood as Mal wanted a new coat. He wants a waterproof one and most say showerproof.He is not the best at shopping and in the end decided to buy one online! That was a waste of time. We did notice that Easter eggs are in the supermarkets already!!

Mal went to the allotment in the  afternoon and then we watched the Hammers game. Oh dear two bad decisions from the ref.

Happy, Healthy 2017 to you all

A bit of a miserable day with drizzling rain. We were going to the beach and then decided to go to the orchards instead and save the beach for a brighter day.

We dropped Ellie off at home and then decided to go to Wingham Wildlife Park as we hadn’t seen the chimpanzees that have arrived from the USA. They are lab chimpanzees and WWP have built them an amazing home. They really do look a very sad bunch, the one or two that did show their faces, hopefully they will settle in well eventually.

It was cold and drizzly so we didn’t stay long but had a walk all the way round. A lot of the animals were indoors because of the weather. The ring tailed lemurs were being fed, so we stopped to see them.

The cotton top tamarin had a tiny baby on his back. The adult tamarins only weigh about half a kilo, so sweet.

There weren’t many people visiting, I guess because of the weather. That’s the good thing about having an annual ticket and living so close by, we can just pop in for an hour.

We were back in time to watch the Spurs game…yeah a win!
