Villa in Cyprus for sale

The end of a lovely week and weekend. We drove home from Marions house, stopping at Macknades in Faversham. It’s my favourite farm shop. Much more than a farm shop.

We returned home to a string of messages on our answerphone for “Maxillofacial” at Canterbury Hospital. I feel sorry for these people who are leaving messages saying they are in agony and we can do nothing about it. This has been happening since we moved in and were given a new phone number even though we wanted to transfer our number from Shatterling and they wouldn’t let us. We tried an entire day to speak to a human being at the hospital, to tell them they are giving out the wrong number. I left 20 messages one day saying if they didn’t call me back I would continue until I filled their answering machine. Miraculously a human called me back and assured me it wouldn’t happen again! Needless to say, it continued.

This morning Mal sent an urgent email headed “breach of confidentiality”, to whoever is in charge. It was read within 5 minutes and a reply sent straight away. Mal found out all the details about this person online and even discovered when the next meeting would be of the Board of Governors and said if it wasn’t sorted , he would be attending! I think that may have done the trick now.

Loads of work to catch up on after a week with the kids. Mal went off to his allotment after lunch. He is so desperate to get things planted.  Ellie and I walked down there late afternoon. I saw these really pretty artichoke flowers on the next allotment.

We went for a walk along the common with the 3 dogs and it was nice and sunny and so all 3 dogs were in the river having a swim!

In the afternoon we all went to my sister’s house and had a BBQ with my two nieces and their families. Eight adults, 9 children and two dogs! It would have been three dogs but Julie left her Springer at home as he is a bit “lively”.

We had a lovely afternoon/evening and Marion said we could stay the night, to save the drive back to Kent until tomorrow.

Out for a walk with Ellie who thought it was great running across the fields as the combine harvester has been and collected a lot of the barley the previous evening.

Next, collecting up everything of Scarlet’s and Jacks to take home. They were really good in the car and we played all sorts of games in the car. Jack has an exceptionally good memory, especially for the game “I went shopping and bought….”
They were full of everything we had been doing to tell mummy and daddy. It will seem so quiet when we go back home.
In the evening Torin cooked Charlotte and us a lovely meal and some nice wine to go with it, all al fresco. Ellie enjoyed her friends again.
