Lou, Ollie ,Oscar and Josie came round for Sunday roast. I cooked two hot desserts thinking the weather had turned cooler and in the end we sat in the garden and ate lunch. Rhys was working.
After lunch we walked to the Quay where ‘Futures for Dogs’ was holding their dog show. They had a call for the “prettiest dog in the show”. Seeing as three people had already told us how pretty she was, Ollie, Oscar and I decided to enter. A staf came third, another ugly dog came second and first was a growling chihuahua. What a coincidence they were rescue dogs from “Futures for Dogs”!!
We knew she was the prettiest and that is all that matters!
We had an interesting chat to a bee keeper.
Later that day after Lou and the kids went home, Ollie fell off his bike and ended up at the emergency hospital and had to have eight stitches in his groin. Poor Ollie.
