We have the car for an extra day and so went to Howletts again. We love it there. Of course we saw the lovely Arina, who is now about 10 months old. Of course we saw all the other animals as well.
For anyone interested the other Aspinall park is Port Lympne and they have just sent a family of Gorillas which have been released into the wild.
We had our lunch there, strawberries, yum!
From Howletts we then drove into Deal for a walk along the sea front. While we have been travelling over the weekend we have seen so many pubs that have closed down. BUT it seems the “Big Boys” are expanding. There is a new Wetherspoons in Deal, just opened, The Sir Norman Wisdom, so we had to go in and try it and decided to stay and have our dinner there.
We arrived home just in time to watch Murray win his match at Wimbledon and Federer to be knocked out!
