We went into Margate early and collected my ring that Cuttings had repaired free of charge. They are nice in there.
From there we went straight to Howletts. We are certainly getting value from our annual tickets! Arina, the beautiful Siberian tiger cub was asleep in the sun. This time we listened to the gorilla talk, as I have said before a whole family were sent back to Gabon recently, to be introduced into the wild, another of their success stories with endangered species. They have 44 gorillas at Howletts at the moment.
We also saw a Dusky Langur baby and a Giant ant eater baby. It was good weather to be strolling round.
We came back ready for the Women’s Tennis Final and wished we hadn’t bothered dashing back, a bit of a non event!
