In April 2002 we finally found the land we were later going to build on

May 2003 - after over a year we had obtained permission to purchase,
transferred the deeds into our names and had started building |

By August 2003 the villa begins to take shape

The villa was "finished" by April 2004 but we discovered that unfortunately our builder had managed to build on our neighbour's land and subsequently we found ourselves in a long struggle to put this right. Also, what our builder told us was our access road belonged to another neighbour so we had to cut a 50 meter drive from our official point of access 10 meters below us. In the process we discovered that we owned about 75 meters of the main Incesu to Malatya road. In the diary section you will find full details of our saga, from February 2002 until the current day. You will also see that we didn't give up at the first hurdle like many around us have done. It's an ongoing story and we hope you will follow it and maybe it will help you avoid the same mistakes we made.
