Marion and I took Ellie for a very long, wet walk in the morning. We then went to the charity shop that Marion works in. I bought a few bits in there including a quiz book for Mal. A question for every day of the year. They were quite difficult so will keep him amused for a long time!
After lunch we went for a ride to West Wycombe to the cafe where two of Marion’s grandchildren work at weekends – The Apple Orchard . We stayed for a drink and then spent a long while in their shop under the cafe, a fascinating place.
