I am so happy, I have another turtle nest this year!! I offered sponsorship but they didn’t know if there would be enough nests but yes there has been, so good news for the turtles too, as obviously a lot of nests. It is a Loggerhead turtle nest.
If I have worked it out correctly, I may even see the hatchlings next time we are in Cyprus.

Wednesday, 2nd August we have had two nests hatch overnight. As a result we will be conducting a double excavation simultaneously. We spent the day at Howletts. We do all love that place and today was even more exciting as they had an escaped rhino and we were locked in the elephant house!! Not really it was a drill but we kept it quiet from the kids so they thought it was for real!!
We managed to get round the zoo just before the rain started but the gorilla had his own way of staying dry!!
