I think Mal felt a bit sorry for me not feeling 100% and so he decided to take the day off from his moderation work and we caught the bus into Broadstairs. That’s what I needed some sea air and in the afternoon the sun even came out. We had our lunch out and later sat at Viking Bay. It was lovely but the sea gulls are such a pain. They just swoop down and woe betide anyone who is eating, they will just take it out of their hands.
It was really busy down there, I guess everyone coming out after the rain.
Things are not looking good in Istanbul.Riot Police are using tear gas and water cannon against the protesters occupying Gezi Park. The people are not at all happy with Erdogan……rather an understatement!
